What is a digital wallet?
Digital wallets are applications on a mobile device which allow you to store your payment card information and then use your mobile device to make a payment instead of using your card plastic.
Which digital wallets can Tompkins cards be enrolled into?
Depending on the device used by the cardholder, Tompkins cards can be enrolled into Apple Pay or Google Pay.
Is my card automatically enrolled for digital wallet?
No. On October 15, 2019, Tompkins will turn on the capability for cards to be enrolled in Apple Pay and Google Pay. The enrollment for these wallets is completely voluntary.
What do I do if I get a replacement credit or debit card with a new number?
Follow the instructions within the digital wallet to delete your old card and then add your replacement card as the new card.
Is my device eligible?
Apple Pay - To use Apple Pay make sure your device is running iOS 8.1 or higher.
Google Pay – To use Google pay you must have an NFC-enabled Android device running Android OS 4.4 (KitKat) or higher.
Where can I use Google Pay?
Android users can use apple pay in a variety of places, such as a grocery store or a vending machine. You can use Google Pay wherever you see one of these symbols.

What Tompkins cards can I use with Apple Pay ® and Google Pay ™?
Our Tompkins Personal, Business, and HSA debit MasterCard and Tompkins VISA Credit Cards are available on Apple and Google Pay.
Does it cost anything additional for me to use a digital wallet?
No, there is no additional cost from Tompkins Financial to use your Tompkins Debit Mastercard or Tompkins Visa Credit Card in the wallet. You require an active data plan or WiFi connection to add your card to digital wallet. Based on your mobile plan and network, additional message and/or data charges may apply.
What if I lose my mobile device?
