Cash Management Product and Sales Manager

The Cash Management Product and Sales Manager manages a staff of sales professionals and will provide strategic direction and sales & product leadership to achieve cash management revenue goals for all four Tompkins affiliate banks located in Western NY, Central NY, the Hudson Valley and Southeastern Pennsylvania. 

Candidates will have to develop meaningful relationships with affiliate bank CEOs, Lenders and Branch Managers to generate sales opportunities and participate in client meetings and presentations. 

Specific cash management products offered by Tompkins including Commercial DDA, Commercial and municipal Internet Banking, Remote Deposit, Lockbox, ACH, Wire Transfer, Escrow Manager, Positive Pay, and Account Analysis.  Candidates must possess a thorough understanding of product profitability, bank operations, and competitor offerings in order to provide leadership in product design, pricing structure and profitability of the product line.

Tompkins Trust Company has an exceptional opportunity for a professional Credit Administration Specialist to work with our dynamic and team oriented Company.  We are currently seeking an individual with exceptional communication skills and administrative experience.  This individual will be responsible for providing direct and indirect support to the commercial credit department staff, which includes analysts, manager, and credit officer. Also responsible for some support to the lending staff, including loan officers and loan administration personnel.  Achieving goals as established by the credit department; coordinating work within the department, as well as with other departments, complying with operating policies and procedures; communicating with appropriate personnel; responding to inquiries or requests for information; maintaining appropriate records and providing assigned reports.

Qualifications:

 

  • Associate's Degree normally required, specialized training in administrative functions
  • A minimum of two (2) years experience in professional settings

  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, work under tight deadlines, and handle confidential information are required

Mortgage Loan Processor/Closer - Ithaca, NY 
 
Tompkins Trust Company has an exceptional opportunity for professional individuals to work with our dynamic and growth oriented Company.  We are seeking individuals with mortgage document experience, customer service experience and a strong background in document or file management to provide quality support to our consumer loan underwriting and originating teams.  These individuals will be responsible for review of loan files received from the Mortgage Origination team and process of the file to meet established guidelines: secondary market, loan policy procedures and regulations.   Provide Settlement Agents with the documentation and information required to finalize the mortgage transaction.  Provide overall department support; transition job responsibilities to adapt to changes in workflow volumes between processing and closing functions.

Qualifications:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred, with a demonstrated ability in an operations office environment
  • Two (2) years related experience.  Industry related experience in Mortgage Processing/ Mortgage Settlement/ Legal/ or Title Company preferred. 
  • Understanding of secondary mortgage market requirements, specifically with Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae preferred.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and communication both written and verbal
  • Must possess critical thinking skills with an attention to detail and a proven ability to resolve problems
  • Excellent organizational skills with an ability to multi-task
